Arrival & Departure Information

Arrivals

Tenancies normally commence at 4.00pm, unless otherwise agreed with us in advance. This allows for thorough cleaning, disinfection (following viral protocols) and preparation for incoming guests. We are flexible and understand you may have had a long journey when you arrive. You are welcome to drop off your bags, go for a swim and we will prioritise preparation of your gite.

On our driveway you will see the car parking area on your right-hand side. This is where guests leave their cars during their stay.

When you first arrive, please drive past the parking area into the main courtyard and give us a honk on your car horn to let us know you have arrived. We are usually around but may not see you.

We will show you around your gite, and happily answer any question you may have. It’s much easier to unload your car from the courtyard before returning it to the parking area

Departures

Check-out time is before 10.00h

We suggest you bring your car into the main courtyard to make loading your luggage easier.

The gite should be left as when you arrived, neat, clean and tidy. Let us know of any breakages or damages so the items can be replaced or repaired before the next guests arrive.

Please strip the beds you have slept in and leave the used bedding and towels inside by the front door.

Please leave any bin bags, recycling bags or empty bottles outside the front door of the gite and we will take care of them

Please leave the door keys in the doors

Make sure you double check that you have all your belongings such as phones, chargers, toiletries, shoes etc. Should you accidentally leave something we will contact you to arrange its return.

Please let us know when you are ready to depart as we would like to say goodbye and wish you a safe journey.
